I know there is a bit of taboo to having larger than 16:9 or 16:10 but with more and more eyefinity set ups are coming out and having to turn off the left and right monitor seems a bit of a waste, the map editor scales correctly and adjusts accordingly.. any ideas or are people just gonna accept the fact and move on... because i certainly don't

The game is still in beta... So why don't you address your feedback and requests directly to the devs :?:

Have done mate several times... and so have a lot of people i know, we get the same reply back, "it would be a disadvantage to the rest of the people playing" i understand this to a point.. but i thought i'd throw it out there as i can't see anything here at all about it and i'm sure they are not going to support eyefinity out of the box.. I thought i'd branch out to somewhere like... i dunno ... a wide screen gaming forum???

It could be a pretty big advantage. Like an early-warning system. It could also be a bitch to mouse scroll.
Maybe they could do something with the fog of war always being there after a certain aspect ratio.
Doesn't really seem like the type of game that would garner a lot of surround interest.

Owners of a surround setup want it to be used in each and every game they play, y'know.

Owners of a surround setup have no idea what you're talking about.
Anyway, if Hor+ is "unfair advantage" in a clickfest like Starcraft 2, what "fair" solution will we get ? Vert- ? Anamorphic 16:9 ? :?
dangerons, can you enlighten us ?
