12 screen Eyefinity?

Will this card really do 12 screen eyefinity? Or is it limited to two groups of 6. Would there even be driver support for 12 screens or a more useful 9 screens 3x3 setup?

They had 24 displays on launch of Eyefinity (though in Linux), so why not? :D

The Linux Xplane was different instances of the game running at the same time i thought on different eyefinity groups. So not really a 24 screen eyefinity setup.

They were cheating? :P
If they support something, its probably more for video walls though. I can't see the big market for 12 screens.

If one has 12 screens, no matter how small the market, it's big!
I'd buy 12 10" bezel-free displays (~3x20" screen size) and this beasty, if it didn't cost as much as an island in the Carribean and actually worked!

Yeah pretty sure you can only use eyefinity over 6 ports but I'd love to proven otherwise.

12 screens would have a bezel in the middle in all configurations
12*1, 6*2, 3*4, 4*3
but 9 could be interesting for a 3*3, although it would provide a similar fov like a single display
so a huge hdtv will be cheaper and bezel-less
they better bring out a 15 port card for 5*3, that would be cool

I really don't see the potential in this improving panoramic solutions all that much more. I do believe that this is the ideal professional video wall card though in a 3x4 grid as 2 eyefinity groups and use video wall spanning in VLC. I could image this would be pretty awesome with that and a bunch of 720p 32" HDTVs stripped of thier casings.

12 screen, YAP :nudgenudge
BUT
12 screen and 2 cores so I think you can manage 2 groups per 6 display/core so you cant play games @ windows on it
the same situation like matrox/quadro professional gpus, you could operate @ 4 displays but these cards was dualcores so you could make 2x 2display group in windows
:(
