after looking at ati cards for half the night and wondering if getting a vapor-x would be better then the normal reference cards price wise i stumbled across this:

It's pretty much what i want! when is it coming out and where can i get it when it does? a normal 5870 with 2gb frame-buffer. Id like to find out, if someone has a contact at sapphire or an email address i could send a question off to please pm me. id love to get 1 or 2 of these.

Not sure about the 5870, but the Toxic 5850 2GB has been flip-flopping between "on sale" and "out of stock" for a couple weeks now at a few online vendors. Supply seems very limited.

If you can find a vendor for the 5870 Toxic I would contact them directly about re-supply, then keep an eagle-eye on the site and pull the trigger the moment one is available. I'd love to do that for the 5850 2GB but have to wait another few weeks before I have the funds. :(

Here in Switzerland the 5850 Toxic 2GB is right now available. 5870 Toxic 2GB coming soon. The cards will be rare and expensive. Hope I can get one or two...
