Does Battlefield 2142 support surround in any way?

I looked up the old hack by adding the resolution to the game shortcut. I set it to 6004x1200 my eyefinity resolution with bezel management.

The game menu was horribly corrupted but still manageable. When I got in game things looked ok at first but soon I noticed almost all the stuff other than environment was invisible (players, cars, intractable objects) so I turned on the widescreenfixer hack and it actually just inverted my view and made it worse :(

I thought I saw pictures of this game working in surround and thought the 1.5 patch fixed a lot of stuff. Anybody have a little recap for me on what to do with this game? or is it just totally not compatible.

BFBC2 is great and all but it doesnt have the same charm as BF2 and BF2142 so wanted to revisit some of my old favorites.

Bottom line: It's not playable.

I don't have it installed anymore, but I assume that Dopefish's fix should work, since it works on all other games he lists for me.

BRPunk, nope, the fixer doesn't work for BF2 or BF2142 in EyeFinity. It does correctly fix FOV but there are too many objects to process and it actually makes parts of the game disappear. dopefish has acknowledged this and said there's no fix yet until he figures out how to omit the objects.

Anyone know if BF2142 has been patched with sufficient updates to be working iwth triple-screen now? I see one YouTube video of the 1.51beta with three screens working? The title for the video is bugs though. The BF2142 1.51 patch was just released and I'm curious.

IIRC the issue with the Battlfield games and triplehead was not only that it wasn't implemented properly, but that the engine didn't support such wide field of views.

To be honest the game isn't that great, so I wouldn't bother buying it for triplehead support alone (though I doubt it exists).

NO MM support, and the new patch with some awesomely big maps (pse pse that size in BF3!) now crashes every round with memory errors.
