I have a widescreen monitor. How do I get aspect ratio 4:3 in BC2?

Pick a 4:3 resolution?

Make sure your graphics card is set up to pillarbox it.

I'm running 1024x768. Nvidia (8800 GTS) drivers are a little fucked up with rescaling, but I have it working on another game.

Yeah, nVidia scaling with fixed aspect ratio hasn't worked for me in a long while actually. nVidia drivers have been crap for months.

Not sure, but FOV feels too narrow at default... gonna look for a way to widen it up.

Any suggestions?

so is one game's FOV not equal to other games' FOV?

like 55 in this game would not have the same FOV as 55 in say, UTIII ?

cuz that's a really low number, but it doesn't seem THAT extremely narrow.

its not horizontal FOV you must be thinking of that since most games use(ed) that. Its the vertical FOV, 65 is like 110 FOV or so I think, there is a formula for it around somewhere and a few calculators online.

Just try a value and see how you like it. 65 is god for me. If you go to 90 or something its going to be way too high.
