That's great, too bad these guys run only 2 DVI clocks or I could easily justify getting one at work (I got 3 monitors) without having to spend an extra $100 for a DP->DVI active converter.

but thats what this card is about, working
in games a single 5770 struggles with driving 3 screens here and there, it would be crippled with 5.
bribe your colleagues into switching their dp screens with you :D

This would interest me if it was a 5850, but not a 5770.

So the 5870 Eyefinity 6 was announced 6 months ago and its still not released.
Will I be able to say the same thing about the 5770 Eyefinity 5 in 5 months? :roll:
Edit: AMD Really has to get 5x1 eyefinity setups working. That's the sweet spot for a lot of people buying these cards. I cant imagine that it would be hard to support, especially considering that 3x2 is supported.

I can imagine they got only 3 displays in a group working and that 6 are probably handled as 2*3display eyefinity groups internally.
thats why they have probs with 5 displays, as they cant divide them into even groups which already work.
4 = 2*2 and 6 = 2*3 are no prob

What i'd like to know is if this card could be put in as the primary in crossfire with a normal, pair or tri, of 5770's.
If so would it not then offer the 5 outputs and have the horse power of 5770's in crossfire?
Sure the costs might be about the same but i'd not have to invest in it all now and it leaves me somewhere to go after getting 3 screens.
