Pilarboxing is bad, but I prefer it to Vert- Any day.

Works for me with my 16:9 screen, but sucks for you guys.

I think this is one of those games where they are intense about presenting it the way they want and you just have to deal with it, etc. etc..

Well, at least the menus won't be super stretched. Glad I bought this for the 360 myself (and got a cool $10 off since it was a preorder :D), at least they don't try to pull this letterboxing crap there.

I was expecting this; not the DRM madness. I'll just pass until the price is as LOW as Ubi's policies toward PC gamers. :evil: Ah well, I really have to reinstall AC1 for another playthrough anyway...

I expect that the permanent internet connection will watch for any code-injection attacks on the game, thus breaking the possibility of a 3rd party fix for this.

Also I got this for $42 from amazon.com before they announced the $60 price... woo-hoo! Of course no release day shipping means I will be waiting a while :(

The more I read about this the less I am interested. I have cancelled my pre-order (muliti-mon and DRM fired NERD RAGE!) and will wait and see what happens... even though it costs me a 'lovely' AC2 pre-order T-shirt ;)
