Running 4 screens: What are (or will be) my options?

I am planning a computer upgrade in maybe the next 6 months. I've tried to sort out some of the new multi-monitor options from Nvidia and ATI but I am more confused than ever.
Basically, here's what I want to do...
Run surround gaming across 3 1680x1050 screens.
Run a 4th screen via my Wacom Cintiq (1280x800)
All of the screens should have robust graphics capability. I'm currently running two screens off of a PCI-e card and one off of a PCI card, and I don't want to be slapping a slow-as-molasses PCI on my next system.
Any thoughts on how this type of configuration will suss out?
