Gabriel Knight 3 solution not working at 2560x1600?

Hi,

It says in the confirmed game solutions section that this game can be played at any resolution using the provided registry hack. The poster apparently tried it with resolutions up to 1920x1080.

The solution does indeed work at least up to 1920x1200 but when I set the resolution to 2560x1600 the game crashes at startup with "unknown exception" error.

Has anybody successfully played this game at 2560x1600 resolution?
