Well, I'd certainly want a lifetime warranty if I spent that much on a console. However, it depends what they mean by 'lifetime' as a couple of times I've had 'lifetime' warranties interpreted by companies as 'until it breaks'. So... yeah.
Also, for that much, I'd want a fat PS3 that could run linux and still had all the PS2 backwards compatibility hardware in it. And one of those new 1TB laptop HDDs in it, for that matter.
Actually, the fat ones don't run Linux any more.... unless you can find one whose firmware has not been updated within the past six months and you never connect it to the Internet.
