That Half-Life 2 graffiti really made me stop and think when I first played the game. Great art.

well i just finished hl2 a few days ago, and then ep 1. i have yet to play ep 2. (should start it in the next few days) (and this was my 1st time. (other then a couple of hours in hl2 a while back)) so yeah, i finally played a 2004 game in 2009. the episodes came a bit later but still use the same source engine - even if enhanced. they all look good anyway, and i'm a gfx whore.) i already have many of the other pics i just need to crop/upload them.
i did finish mw2 as well.
the damn steam sales have bankrupted me.
i'm stocked to the rafters with games, summer has started, so i'm gonna play till it hurts. :rockout

Nice silly idea. :onethumb Original in-game art is neat, but textures made from pictures of actual graffs often look great as well.
Don't forget the board has auto-resizing features, so you can add full-sized pics to your posts if you want.
So many graffiti'ed games... Lots of shooters of course, but World in Conflict and the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series also pop into mind. I'll keep my eyes peeled and post any findings.
Shouldn't we move this to the OT or Screenshots subforum though I wonder ?

I've obliged and moved it to Widescreen screenshots and videos. :onethumb
Now you've brought it to my attention, the graffiti can be pretty good. I definitely recommend Jet Set Radio Future and the rest of the Jet sets. Awesome games.

nah, nah, that's it you got it....
great post...
i've just been sooooo busy, but i also have a LOT more pics to add later... and games to play....
ah, time is my friend and enemy.
nothing to do with graffiti, my next game will be rogue warrior. it's being dissed by most, but i think i'll enjoy it. i like rourke, i like smart ass corny comments, i love the 80's and russia and violence and cussing. if it turns out to be the equivalent of a "b grade movie" so much the better. we need games like that once in a while. so bad that it's actually somewhat good.

EXCELLENT MAN. GOT BOTH THOSE GAMES.
I'M STILL MEANT TO GO AND TAKE MORE SCREENIES MYSELF, BUT BELIEVE IT OR NOT FOR THE LAST MONTH I HAVE BEEN PLAYING A BROWSER GAME CALLED MAFIA WARS. I'M ASHAMED TO ADMIT THIS BUT IT'S THE TRUTH. I PLAY IT 10-12 HOURS A DAY. I'M TRYING TO BREAK THE ADDICTION. IT WILL HAPPEN, I JUST NEED A BIT MORE TIME. :P

I TOO ENJOY PROTOTYPE; BUT PLEASE DON'T USE ALL CAPS IN FORUMS, OR ANYTHING FOR THAT MATTER.

Nice. I too have been updating the original thread. Anyway, can you view those scenes in Tropico 3 in first person? I know it's unlikely, but possible. I have the game and the add-on myself, but can't be arsed installing right now. So many games, so little time. If anything, I really MUST install and play Marc Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure. I mean it's a game about graffiti. Yes, soon.
Here are some of the new pics I've added. Another game that has a lot of cool graffiti is blur. I must re-install and play that game too. It's really good - and the graffiti assets are awesome.
Portal
Crash Time 4: The Syndicate
Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City
Battlefield: Bad Company 2
Medal of Honor

Nice additions !
Tropico 3: no first-person camera/mod AFAIK, but I probably could've zoomed closer. All graffs seem to be "public domain" decals that have been used in other games, anyway.
Blur: good idea. I think NFS Shift has some (inside tunnel on Japan track), and maybe the FlatOut games, too...?
Marc Ecko's Getting Up: ugh, 4:3 game. This will definitely help this thread jump from Far-Fetched to Downright OT
Oh and... It's okay to use normal-sized text. Really.
