There is just one company making them, the companies you mention are just brands of the same product built in the same building.

$6500... totally not worth it in my opinion and its not really even that high of a resolution. Only 900 vert pixels? ugh.
You could get 3x 30" panels a ATI 5970 and have money to spare, heck you could build the entire computer and still have money to spare.
Id rather do 3x HD projectors than mess with one of these monitors at that price. Then you can be virtually bezel free too.

Amen to that ViciousXUSMC. :wink:
But I did like the three monitor setup.

Good for racing and flight sim but not for RTS EVE FPS or anything requiring lots of resolution.

Futuristic shape, prehistoric specs... No word on response time. Prohibitive price.
Then again, here's hoping my multi-mon setup will eventually resemble sth like that at some point in time... This "triple curve" looks grrreat.
I wonder if Ibrin's good enough to somehow get one of these for reviewing purposes ?... :mrgreen:

0.02ms when measured with 'traditional' response time tests is what Alienware was claiming. (note that its not an LCD but rather a DLP)

Sorry, I meant ghosting and such, not just response time "figures". Milliseconds hardly mean anything, and I hear the various technologies behind DLPs all have their pros and cons. So they want you to basically give a kidney, get a curved panel, enjoy and ask no questions. I wish they'd trust their own product's qualities enough to give us hard facts and let it be thoroughly reviewed by serious people. (Like... I dunno... Ibrin?)

Well there's already a competitor out, and it's in the UK presently.
Philips 52″ Cinema 21:9 LCD TV Key Features:
* 2560×1080p Full HD 21:9 Aspect ratio 52″ 200Hz Clear LCD display with 8.3 million pixels
* Comes with three-sided Ambilight Spectra technology
* 1ms Refresh Rate
* 80,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio
* 5x HDMI 1.3a ports, DLNA and Wi-Fi connectivity
I'd love to Eyefinity 3 of these. Not Curved, But a Hell a lot more resolution and bigger panel. it's $7,401.15 or £4500 for one of these.
It would be like linking 6 1280x1024 (a little more hieght of course) together accross.
