Interstellar Marines is an AAA, FPS, Sci-fi, action and adventure game with an original and unpredictable storyline featuring single and cooperative gameplay, with heavy focus on realism. From the looks of it, I'd rather call it "Futuremark meets Impossible Creatures".

The game is being developed (since... late 2005?) thanks to the donations of aspiring players. Anyways - now you can visit a 3D preview via your web browser : this is The Vault, and it's Hor+ ! (one-step registration + proprietary plugin required)

Default browser window, 968x544 (16:9)

Fullscreen, 5040x1050

The Vault is NOT the Interstellar Marines game. It is an in-engine preview intended as an interactive experience and show case.

What is AAA Indie ?
2. AAA Indie is the gamer and the developer, no one else

It sounds ridiculous when you say it aloud. Space Marines? Really? If there were such a branch that would equal marines for outer space combat, they would be called something else, not tacking on the word "Space" to a branch. Is there a Space Army? A Space Guard?

Warhammer 40,000.

Try Doom. The first Space Marine. Even Duke Nukem payed homage to the dead space marine in the chapel. But maybe I'm wrong, Commander Keen may have been a space marine.

Warhammer 40,000 beat ol' Doom by a year. Or course, if Keen is considered a Space Marine then Ultima II has all of them beaten by a decade.

DaFox is the one who said 'Space Marines'. But the game title is Interstellar Marines, remember ? Here's your branch : Marines who operate anywhere between two suns. 8)

Who cares about'em guys, anyway ?? Sharkhounds people, SHARKHOUNDS !!!

Be my guest. I'll just wait for the game to achieve more-than-vaporware status before I discuss little-more-than-OT science. :P
