I tested NV 191.03 beta driver from the NV homepage and got success!

My sys:

Vista x64 with all updates and SPs
PowerDesk from Matrox´s HP ( 2.05.00.020 )
Firmware from Matrox´s HP ( THDE_v2.3.40.t6.56 )
NV 191.03 beta from NV´s HP
3xSamsund 2243BW


I only uninstalled my old working driver (182.50) - reboot
BUT i didn´t uninstall the PowerDesk

Ran driver sweeper (2.0.5) - reboot

Installed 191.03beta - reboot
I didn´t switch any resolution at this time

Ran PD Wizard:
chose the triple wide modes with 1440x900x3@60Hz - reboot when prompted

After reboot and everything went fine, I opened PowerDesk and selected 1680x1050x3 Resolution. Hit the apply button and everything woks fine right now!

I havent got enough time to test some games, but i think they will work...


P.S. All "actions" during all installations are done with admin-rights. That means right-click "run as admin"

Erm, you mean 5040x1050 worked on your system w/ 182.50 & PD 2.05.00.020 ?? It doesn't work for me, the resolution is added and saved but is reported as "out of range" for my monitors. To achieve 5040 in Vista I for one need both nv driver 182.50 and the old beta PD. :?

I had no problems with the 182.50 and PD 2.05.00.020.

A day after my post, I saw the thread with 191.07!
Its allready installed and working!!
