I played games like Grid, NFS, GT but none of them lasted longer than the single player parts. But didnt have TH2G and no mp interest at this time...
I am kind of boring since I cant decide what game I like to play. Since there are some tripleheader freaks in here, I would like to know which is your fav racing game and why? It doesnt matter how old it is, but should still be supportet or should have a nice and big community for multiplayer games. So now its your part to bring me on your side :D

http://www.iRacing.com!
Only multiplayer, great service, great racing, best racing physics around atm.
Best triplehead support in any game yet.
Then there is Live For Speed.
Good multimonitor support, great pickup racing, good physics.

Iracing is pay-to-play though, keep in mind. A lot of people, myself included, cannot stand that business model.

Yeah, but it is the premeire racing "sim" out there. Been a member for well over a year now, and its runs, and is run very well.

Xes and its quite expensive after a while since you must pay for extra stuff even more. Have rad a little about it. Even its a realy good or best racing simulator, the grafik is not up2date.
And since I am planning to buy me the G25 bundle, I dont want to spend hundrets of euros for playing a racing game :P
In your case Tommy (I guess you are the one with this hydraulic stuff) it would make sence and I also would try to get the best for my hobby. I like racing games, but maybe not as much as you do. I think you can understand :)

Yup, sure can Nos. Sure can.
My setup is actually linear motors and true, it is my main hobby. FPS, and flight sims arent supported by Frex in their software. You have to use X-Sim software for all the other games.
T.T.

I am also interested in racing games, personally I don't care about accuracy; just gfx and funness. I would love one with pew pew too.
Mainly tho is TH support

Shift I think is pretty poor.

I like Burnout Paradise The Ultimate Box
Its arcady so you can just sit back and have fun, it has absolutly perfect 3x monitor support from FOV to HUD, to Menu's.
It gives a really good sense of speed, and its just super fun to play. Its like GTA but only in a car :D
Plus its cheap, I think I saw it new for $20 online. It also has perfect sync with a force feedback wheel like my Logitech Momo with all the proper adjustments you need to make it how you want it.
This was a really well done game.

I play a lot of rFactor. Tons of mod's and has good multi-monitor support. You can play online and there are a ton of people still playing. The GFX aren't anything special, but it's a solid racer.
I also say Dirt, because it does have multi-monitor support and looks good. And if you played anything codemasters, you know it's really good.

sorry to bump a thread thats been put to sleep but I think I word would have to be put in for simbin's GTR Evo. It's the only modern sim with good AI to race against.
The later addons haven't been so well taken by the community but the modding scene for evo is alive and kicking.
The others btw:
LFS multiplayer in controlled enviroment (no mods) free version is good for setup (small download)
Netkar Pro is the only game which has chassis physics anywhere near iracing's. It's a one map dev team tho so the scope isn't very large.

I just got NCR2003 I hear that game is only really truly brought to life when you apply mods, if your a fan of that game do you have the good mods in mind we should use?
For me I have been having a really good time with Dirt 2.

Which racing games has the best Porsche 986/987/996/997 in them? I ran into a few decent rFactor 996/997 add-ons. PCC2007 looks nice for a free add-on. Does NFS Shift have any Porsche in them?

I've picked up some racing games over the last few days. Dirt 2, NFS Shift, Grid, Crash Time II and Outrun 2006 all work good so far with my TH2G. Juiced 2 will run but it needs a FOV hack to be made for it. So far, it looks like Crash Time II and NFS Shift are my favorites so far. Dirt 2 seems fun too but I'm having more fun with the first 2. Grid is a simular engine as Dirt 2 so not much issue there. Outrun 2006 is pure arcade racer, but it's novel in the sense of retro coin operated racing games. I'm not too impressed with Juiced 2. I take most issue with it's FOV stretching of everything.
