10x dude !

3840x1024 = 4000F00

run the game not the setup screen.

10x again !

Using XP, the only way to launch is using gamesetup which resets the VideoResolution registry value on launch :|

:D It was my mistake, I was copy and pasting '4000F00 ' into the registry which was including the ' ' character

It works Great in 3840x1024 thanks :cheers

Okay, I think I got it...
Syntax : [hex value of resolution's height]0[hex value of resolution's width]
For 3840x800 : 3200f00 8)

Confirmed Solution posted.

i also had to disable shadow maps?

I didn't have to, even at 5040x1050. Part of the scenery looks like it's wearing striped pajamas, but everything works no problem. :?

I can verify that this trick does not work with the Steam version, it appears to reset this registry key everytime... :doh

Did you try to run the proper .exe from Program FilesSteamsteamappsFuel instead of launching the game from inside Steam :?:

As scanvvenjah said, you have to run the seculauncher.exe from the steamapps folder and not launch it directly from steam in order for it to work. I have the steam version and it works just fine.

Had this game for a while looks like a good time to jam on multi screens but I can't follow the math on this so can I kindly ask what code to use for a resolution of 5760x1200 on three 24"s.

Thank you :)

Thank you :)

Here's what I did for my 5760x1080 setup:

Run it at 1920x1080 (1920x1200 for you) first. Convert that hex value in the registry to decimal (there should be a button in the registry editor that does that automatically), then add 2*1920 (2 times the horizontal) to that decimal value, convert back to hex and you're set.

For example, my values were: 1920x1080 is 70780800 in decimal, 1920*2 + 70780800 = 70784640, then click the hexidecimal button and it'll be the right hex value.

Can't get it working... always get a "Cannot create the Direct3D device.(hr=0x8876086c) When i Edit the Registry!

Works fine with all the Settings like this one i can choose in GameSetup.exe (Manually in Regedit) but if I change the registy (doesnt matter how, just change the "VideoResolution") there is a Black window (in that resolution) which pops up, and starts flickering for like... 50 seconds.

Then the "Cannot create the Direct3D device.(hr=0x8876086c)" Error comes up an Fuel crashes.

Installed dx9 from DVD, from GameSetup.exe (realy did install some new files!) tried from Web (didnt change anything)

Reinstalled Fuel.

Tried in compability mode

nothing worked, and i still have no idea why :(

GPU is an AMD Radeon HD 6970 with 8.840.2.0 drivers. (CCC 11.4) Windows 7 64 bit!

Okay, it DOES WORK! reinstall wastn enough, needed also restart ^^
