Ok, go ahead, giggle at the noob to the forum hehe.
Just a quick question. I am planning on getting the th2go digital and 3 Samsung lcd's. Been reading as much as possible today on the matter, and thought I read where you cant use a GTX295? Tell me I'm wrong please. And are these LCD's worthy.
Thanks Tom

Don't know about the LCDs, personally. But the GTX 295 worked fine:

As I wait for the LCD's to be shipped (Dell est' 6/23/09), is there a preffered dual link cable I should be ordering? Would like to get the best 3 available in the 6' range.
Thanks
Tom

Just use the cables that come with the Dell screens. They're perfectly suitable. Unless you're one of these people who subscribe to the idea that spending $200 on a $10 cable because it's 'oxygen free copper with 24ct. gold connectors'. I might be willing to think that high quality wires have an impact on top-end analogue audio (poor quality wires certainly do) but there comes a time when prices go up for no reason. But with digital signals like DVI or HDMI... either the signal is there, or it isn't. There are no half-measures. Monster cables, for example, are probably the greatest rip-off ever. I can get HDMI cables for £5 that give exactly the same performance as £100 Monster HDMI cables.

Shop from Monoprice.

I outfitted my entire office, well over a dozen cables (may of which were 25 foot) for about $120. This included shipping and tax. Cables are top-notch. You can also get really short DVI cables to go between the TH2Go and your monitors.

Sorry to bother you guys again but. The Dells are "on the truck for delivery" today, and I have spent a few hours on here reading the different threads, but it seems a lot of them are getting a little dated, and scattered. What video drivers do I want for my XP32 partition and what video drivers do I need for my Vista64 partition? OS's are on different drives. I only race (iRacing) on XP. Specs below.
Thanks Tommy T.

Hot damn, what a difference. Hooked em up, installed the Matrox drivers and she took right off. Still have some learning to do, and can see now I will have to drop off the "more shadows" if I'm not alone on the track. But she runs beautifully. All shadows and ingame goodies on max, and picking up 4X Multi, and 16XAF plus other enhancements in nhancer. Averages between 85-135 in the SC at Milwaukee, and 70-110 in the truck there alone. The 185.85's in XP seem to be working fine so far. Going to start looking around for some good lcd mounting and get that all set up next. Thank for the help everyone. Cheers.
happy feet!!!! :)

Morning all. I have a couple of questions.
1. Not sure what setting I changed, but for the first few days my POST screen, and the Windows welcome screen would come up on my #1 monitor (left lcd), then span out like its supposed to when XP would load. Now it is spanned across all three lcd's. It's not that big of deal reading it across all three, but I cant figure out what setting I changed in either the GXM, divider, desktop management tabs.
2. I have my internet windows (email, WSGF, etc, etc,)opening up in my #2 (middle lcd) But it opens up with about a half an inch from the top and partially covered on the bottom by my task bar. I tried resizing/moving it and closing it, which usually makes it stay in that position the next time I open it, but it always goes right back to being about that 1/2" from the top of the middle lcd. How do I resolve that?
Display properties are showing the correct size (5040x1050), and everything is working great with the DTH2go.
Thank you for any help.
Tom

Been playing around a little with the bezel managment, and not sure whats causing this. Never taken up to above 50 pixels, but as soon as I get up to around 66 or so on up the right side of the left lcd starts pulling in too? No issues with the right lcd at any amount from 0-510. Any suggestions?
Thanks T.T.
BTW, sorry, for the un pro pictures.
