Trying to put together a new system and want to multi-monito
Posted: 05 Jun 2009, 20:06
Ok so Im new to the world of multi-monitors and surround gaming I have put together a list of items from newegg that I think would work well together and have run into an issue... the TH2G seems like an expensive solution vs. just buying a second video card and hooking the third monitor to it... would that even work? I mostly play games like WOW or Warhammer online and I do play some FPS games but again mostly MMO's and would like a three monitor solution vs a 2 monitor solution as with 2 monitors I have seen issues where your toon is in the middle of the two monitors and makes it difficult to look infront of you with the monitor seperation in the way and was thinking three monitors would fix this by putting the main toon in the middle monitor and just adding to each side... so this is what I put together so far trying to do this as budget minded as possible yet with enough power to do anything I'd like.... BTW I have never overclocked and kinda fear doing so. These items are from newegg...
so primary question is if its worth adding the TH2G for the three monitors of if its better for me to just double up on my video cards to get the extra slot connection for my monitors(if this even works???) it seems insain to pay over 200 when for around 300 I can just get another vid card and sli or whatever is needed...
The things I haven't done yet is decide what monitors to buy... still trying to find some 20 inch widescreens (or larger) for a 150-180ish range dont really know anything about monitors if anyone had any newegg item #'s that they might suggest would love to peak...
