I am having problems with every game I have tried to install and play on my windows vista computer. They all install fine and open ok but when the game starts the viewing area of the game is really small and in the center with a large thick black border around the whole thing (top, bottom, and both sides). I am not sure what I can do to fix it because I haven't found anyone else with this same problem. btw the games I have installed are mainly for Windows 95/98/ME.
Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

That is called Windowboxing, try looking through your monitor's options for scaling. What you would want is "Aspect Scaling" Which is basically expanding the image as big as it can get without distorting it.
