Looks good. Kinda 28 days later/I am legend, the Omega Man/Fallout/War of the Worlds/Jurassic Park wannabe.

Will be crap though because it's ubisoft, and i haven't been impressed with their polish/gameplay in a while. Storylines, sound and graphics they're generally quite good, gameplay not so much.

The graphics look nice: remind me of Far Cry2 Dunia engine.

And I wouldn't write off the entire Ubisoft as I got R6Vegas2 recently (Steam discount) and its multiplayer is a lot of fun. FC2 works the other way round: solid sp, frustrating gameplay in mp. Their customer support is poor though, I do agree with that.

I love the concept, but I will reserve all other judgment for later. Sweet trailer.

There's not really enough in that trailer to tell us what kind of enemies if any will be in the game, though I do like the graphics. I tend to wonder if it will be yet another game where the cutscenes look far better than the actual game though.

Wiki indicated something interesting however about what could be the cause of the disaster:

"Closer inspection of the trailer shows a background advertisement board containing the url http://www.ruaumoko.com, in reference to Ruaumoko, a Maori god whose movements cause earthquakes."

From what I've read regarding clues in the trailer and speculation of the game, it may be themed toward another one of those disasters caused by mankind stories. Perhaps the government, a large corporation, or both being responsible.

Looks good I thought, I like the diversity of the games lately, it's not all just try to kill as many as possible. This game looks like a survival portal type game, figuring out how to get things done that could be done in many many ways.

Looks like the survival horror game is really just FP-survival. I like this. Like Fallout 3 mating with Cloverfield without all the stupid monsters.

Chicago, June 2009. A 10.3 magnitude earthquake destroys the city and shatters your life as an ordinary citizen. As the rescue mysteriously fails to arrive, you are trapped in an environmental and social chaos that gets worse by the hour. Your only way out is to set up a massive refugee camp to hopefully attract rescue's attention. You will need to find resources and organize survivors to create your headquarters. In the midst of Chicago’s ruins, you’ll have to both preserve and sacrifice in order to survive during 7 days. Rescue, heal, protect, kill, ambush or steal. But first, try staying alive. It could happen to you, so ask yourself: what would you do?
