Hi all.
I'm having lots of trouble trying to get 5040x1050 res.
I have downloaded and installed the new firmware/drivers from matrox, made sure that my display output is showing as "matrox Triple head 2 go" in devices/monitors and aslo nvidia control panel is showing the same thing aswell as Vista.
System specs are as follows
Mobo - Striker Extreme Bios 1402
GPU - 8800 GTX SLI'd 180.24 driver
CPU - E6850 @ 3.65GH
Ram - 4gb Corsair Dominator @ 1080
OS - Vista 64 all updates
Monitors- LG 226wtq - pf
Matrox - DT2GO
Dual DVI Cables all round
I have run the matrox compatability test and the result is I should be able to run 5040x1050. Here is where things get wierd, with no updates to the matrox firware/driver all resolutions are displayed in the matrox powerdesk and triple screen aspect ratio is 16:10 but it states that the top 3 resolutions are not supported 5040x1650 being one of them.
After the updates these dissapear and the aspect ratio for triple screens now displays 16:9?
I Have been trying for about 3 weeks now almost 4 to try and get 5040x1050 but am losing hope fast and i'm sure i can run it. I have tried clean installs, Single GPU, Custom res's' through nvida, Format HD and reinstall windows, and many more.
What Nvidia drivers are you folks using?
All input is appreciated am desperate to get this sorted. Until then 3840x1024 will have to do.
Kind regards
Jinz
