Test the various aspect ratios and such. So far I haven't been kicked in multiplayer, but that doesn't mean it's entirely safe.

This is for the beta only so far. I'll have support for the final later. That's why the above file isn't an official release.

I'll probably have support for the retail done tomorrow morning.

3 x 5:4 settings and runs great :)

:D Awesome! Installing now, will not play one minute until I can enjoy triplewide...thanks DF!

@Downtown1: just finished install, it's 1942 on an occupied Japanese island and you begin as a MIA prisoner...looks awesome 1680x1050, but will wait until I can play 5040x1050 (hint! hint!)...

Update: gameplay on the first level is ALOT like MOH Pacific Assault (w-better graphics).

Update:
I have the MP version of the full retail game working fine, but the SP version is giving me trouble. Things work really different in single-player versus how they did in CoD4.

I've updated http://imk.cx/temp/Release.zip to contain the MP fix for the retail. I'll continue trying to fix SP.

It looks like I may have figured SP out. I got the aspect ratio fixed. I just need to do the HUD and it should be ready for release. :)

Thanks again Dopefish (triple donation just PayPal'd)! Even the Compass and Hud items are on the center screen and with correct ratio. Nice!

Working great with SoftTH v1.07b (v1.08 could not get left screen working). Used the same SoftTH.cfg from COD4...

FYI, they hid the config.cfg file here for those that need to edit manually (SoftTH users may crash upon resolution change).

I have the following settings:

seta r_aspectRatio "auto"
seta r_displayRefresh "75 Hz"
seta r_mode "4320x900"

Yep. I also fix the HUD (same with CoD4). :)

There may be some text that isn't quite centered or might go across the screens a little. It should be a minimal thing and not impact the game at all.

An interesting benefit to fixing the HUD is that, for some reason, the scoreboard is on the right screen in multiplayer. This actually works out nicely, since it doesn't block your main view.
