I'm from germany so please consider my bad english.

I want to try out surround gaming. because I'm not sure about it will perform for me I will go as cheap as possible so I decided to go Softth first.

This is my hardware:

C2D 6300
4850 Ati
19" Wide Hanns-G display

Mostly I play world of warcraft and FarCry I'm not a friend of Crysis. I will try out race games on surround gaming not sure which one maybe GTR or LFS.

So in case of these games should I buy a second 4850 or a lower card?

Also I'm not sure about the TFT's what would you buy? 22" or 24"?

Thought about to buy 2 TFT's first and use my 19" till I can buy a third one.

But what happens when SoftTH will not work for me? With 3 24" I can't use the original Triplehead2go from matrox am I right?
Also Ati isn't the best choice here, right...?

I'm really confused about all that but want to run games on 3 TFT's and don't know how to start.

Maybe you could give me some recommendations.

Here's some general info :
-For 5040x1050 using TripleHead2Go, you need nvidia hardware at the moment. Ati cards can still do 4320x900 (3x 1440x900).
-5040x1050 (TH2G) requires monitors that can run at 57 Hz >> http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/node/9399
-SoftTH would demand an additional graphics card (so that you can connect all three monitors)
-3x 22" or 3x 24" ? Hold your horses. You could first buy a single 22" or 24" monitor, see how games feel on it, then ask yourself if you still need/want to go TripleHead right away... or buy another one and try SoftTH...
-given your config, be aware that 5040x1050 is a lot of pixels...

I forgot to write that I want to upgrade my pc. Next month it will be Asus P5E with C2D8400 or maybe quad. The GPU should be upgradet too but I'm not sure what to buy because of Triple Heading. Would be fine to use my Ati 4850 with the new setup. I think I will go 22".
