I decided to pull out of the contest. Apologies, not really sure why but I almost feel guilty for being so indecisive pre-contest and I feel I mostly just contributed with the hopes of my own material gain.

I really have no idea what you're talking about, but I can't stop you. One of the main points was that the material gain would service as a incentive for people to enter.
