Just buy a new Setup .

Hi , This is my first Widescreen setup and I have some questions .

I have read a lot and I decided to order 3 x Samsung 2253BW (on sale for 210$ each) and Matrox Triplehead2go Digital .

Here my current setup :

Asus Rampage Formula
E8500 Overclocked to 4.25ghz
4gb Pc-8300
4x320gb in raid 0
EVGA 280 GTX Overcloked to 670mhz core and 2400mhz memory.

Before I run all games at max setting with my 24" 1920x1200 .

What I should expect with a 5050x1050 resolution ? I think I will have a 50% reduced frame rate in almost all games . Its good or Im way off ?

If the frame rate is too bad I will change my motherboard and get another 280 GTX to run in SLI .

Well if you are going to 5040 just set it up with one GTX and try it out on the games you play. If it is not enough frame rate or graphics quality for you then look at replacing your mobo and going SLI.

That is what I would do, anyway :)
