Widescreen with Matrox DTH2GO and Dell 24" monitors

Hi!
I have a quad core 3.6 Ghz with 4 Gb Ram , 3 x Nvidia 8800 GTX running on SLi. I am running Windows XP 32 bit version on this machine. My aim is to make three 24 " Dell monitors look like one big screen and so I bought the matrox DTH2G. The DTH2GO detects my monitors, but does not receive or send any signals. I thought my matrox was faulty and tried it with 19" monitors and they work. Even though, I am running the 24" on lower resolutions then their native, they are not detected. I am not sure if I am following the correct steps. Can somebody help me with this?
I am trying to build a flight simulator, and have a motion based chair to give the required effects. I am using MS FXS for this purpose.
