TH2Go Digital, PowerDesk and 'other' timings

Hi,
I own several TH2Go analogue units and am well aware of advertised and (re)stated limitations of the GMX range.
Having just read the blurb on the Matrox Veos units (like a TH2Go and signal extender together) it raised some questions for me with the TH2Go Digital version.
Not having one to test, or explore what is available in the PowerDesk utility for it, I am putting statements from the Veos up as possibilities.
The Veos suggests it can use the 'Pivot' feature of Powerdesk. It also suggests from the page on supported resolutions that 'Other specified resolutions can be set using PowerDesk'. Has anyone tried this with TH2Go Digital? Is it even exposed in the PowerDesk utility?
Working completely within the bandwidth of TH2Go, if I wanted to run 2160x1280 (3x 720x1280) It looks like the PowerDesk 'pivot' utility could perform this (I know I can just specify the timing in my NVControl Panel to get that res without rotating displays - but not to play ball with GMX). Can anyone confirm it is not present as an option please?
PowerDesk also advertises a 'PowerRes' utility while not explicitly saying that Veos uses it. It doesn't sound that different from custom resolution setting in NVControl Panel but again, to play ball with GMX? Is PowerRes exposed with TH2Go Digital's version of PowerDesk?
If none of these points are possibilities yet I wonder what is next for TH2Go now that Veos has taken it a little further, albeit possibly only by driver control?
