I've already got this on my PS3, but I think I'm gonna buy it on the PC just to support a dev house that doesn't just fob PC users off with 'artistic vision' nonsense. :D

Anyone have this already? I'm downloading now off Direct2Drive and wondering if the previously discussed TH2G support is actually included. Also, I didn't see an SLI profile in the 181.22 driver set... any one have any tips for getting good SLI results?

Flawless surround support, you can even set if resolution is for 1, 2 or 3 mons (aspect ratio for menus, ingame looks similar, with ok FOV).
With my Q6600 and 8800ultra, I have avgs of about 45ps - 5040x1050 4xAA, 55fps - 5040x1050 0xAA
Awesome, thanks for the pics & update. Installing now.

Native surround support... unstretched, centered HUD... nice graphics and great performance... oh my ! I'm drooling.
Links to the forum threads are broken though, guys :P
Edit : Looks like they've been using "faux tripleHead" on a 1920 monitor for their
short "super-triple-widescreen (1920x600) video" sample 8) (right-click and save)

I've been waiting for burnout paradise on pc, but before I buy it I'd like to know. How online-centric is it? Like on a machine without a net connection, what can/can't be done?

Well, you need a connection to activate it, since it uses SecuRom, but as for playing the game offline, I guess it's kinda like NFS: Underground 2, you drive around the city, looking for races, only the entire city is unlocked from the start, and you'll unlock new cars as you go.
It might've been changed on the PC from the consoles, but I doubt that.

Anyone have a good SLI profile for this? (nHancer or not) I actually get some drops w/ SLI enabled that aren't there when I disable it.

The game has its own page on
nzone... but it's not present in the SLIzone game list so I fear the worst :(
Downloading the fat demo right now. 2h30 to go

Downloading too, wonder how limited it is, I hope not 'play 60mins max. total' like most trials are, especially for that size.
I wish whoever thought up online activation rots in a place worse than hell.

Amen.
The demo is actually a "locked full game". You have 30 minutes and 3 races to try it out. Then you'll still be able to drive around the city streets, but you'll have to restart the game every couple minutes, or BUY IT.

Posting this in case anyone else runs into the same. I downloaded the demo off file front. I tried to extract the zip using the windows built in, about 85% through it gave a 0x80004005 unspecified error.
First thought was the zip is corrupt, since I was leaving for work I restarted it to check out when I got back.
Unzip again, same error, for the heck of it I try to unzip it with IzArc2go, extracts everything no problem.
*edit* ok now this is friggin ridiculous, unzipped fine but installer gave a bs corrupt cab error,
I've downloaded it for the third time from nzone, same deal.
They should friggin trash this idiotic installshield installer, gives more errors than anything else.
