Racer_S has done it again for us with this one ... 8) ... :D
Just choose your TripleHead resolution in the game ... set the aspect Ratio to 4:3 ...
(to get the hud to fit better on the centre screen ... it isn't perfect but better than 16:9 or 16:10).

Download the fix from here ... CLICK ME
or from Racer's site here ... http://dl.tocaedit.com/R6Vegas2_Game_TH.zip

Place the R6Vegas2_Game_TH.exe from the rar file here ... C:Program FilesUbisoftTom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2Binaries
Create a short cut to it and use it to start/run the game ...

This also works as a noCD/DVD ... :D

NOT TESTED ONLINE.
Racers .exe says it is V1.00.59 (307) ... my updated one (the original one) is V1.01.74 (316) ... so I guess it won't work on line unless you find a similar version ... and ... it probably wouldn't work online anyway because PB will shut down a modified .exe ...
You could get banned use online at your own risk !

As I understood it the resolutions were available in the game and the fix was to correct the aspect ratio ... is this wrong ?

I dunno mate, as I PM'd; what I meant was do we need anything different to play it correctly in 5040. I will install it and test later this week.

Yup. Looks fantastic.

I purchased one copy as a gift for my buddy over Steam and used a gift card from a family member to buy a boxed copy at Gamestop yesterday.

I did it mainly to play the campaign together in co-op mode as we just finished Gears of War that way and it was tons of fun!

Unfortunately, and thus my post here, Racer_S's fix does not work with the latest patch.... so I'm reduced to playing at 1600x1200 on my center monitor. :(

Well I have been trying to get this to work in TH but I get this error when I use the .exe

General protection fault!

History: Ordinal77() Address = 0x5c003a (filename not found)
Address = 0x20000 (filename not found)

Now it is the same error when I start the game from just the normal exe in the same folder. However if you try and start the game from the Vista game area (which uses the launcher.exe) it starts fine but starts DLing the patch, which is obviously not what we want. I guess that I need to get it running once without the auto patcher going, anybody know how to turn the auto patcher off?

well I am actually getting all sorts of errors, maybe a corrupt install. SO 'a-reinstalling I will go'.
Edit: Yep corrupt install. However even without patching it still does the same thing as when it is patched...the weird images I posted previously. So maybe another 5040 issue.

Oh well Paddy gave me a few helpers for Clear Sky so I am going back to that...and maybe some Crysis bullet time ;)

Yeah, I would love to have a 1.3 version. I tried using the version in the OP, and although it worked, it also erases my character each time I load the game.

I just got my TH2G last night and this is high on the list of games that would benefit from it.

Anyone have new TH developments for Vegas 2? Steam has got the game on sale for $9.99, and I'm interested, but the current status of this thread indicates it won't work in surround, so I hesitate to pull the trigger.
