Hyped to be one of the greatest games of the year, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is the latest iteration of the hugely successful "Call Of Duty" series made by Infinity Ward and published by Activision. Until now, the games have taken place in a World War II setting, but Modern Warfare brings the gameplay forward to the 21st Century with realistic weapons, armour and tactics.
Players take on the roll of Sgt Jackson of the US Marines and the ludicrously named "Soap MacTavish" of the British SAS. Alternating between these two characters, you set out to foil a nuclear plot by Russian ultra nationalist "Imran Zakhaev", after a Middle-Eastern country's president is executed.

I'm downloading the CoD4 demo as I type this, but it will take a while - at least two hours. If no one else confirms 1920x1080 and 1920x1200 support by then, I'll test it myself.

Can you confirm 1920x1080 and/or 1920x1200 support?

Ok, I just got the demo. The game is not playable on my system, but 1920x1080 and 1920x1200 are supported.
As a side note, it seems the auto-aspect function caps at 16:9, so by the time I get around to upgrading my system, I probably won't be playing this game in Ben-Hur mode.

Just to help someone else so they don't have to figure this out.. I have a 3 monitor rig with nVidia Surround at 5760x1080.
I did get this fixed using WideScreen Fixer. There was no CoD4 in the list...
I had to just
select the CoD:MW. Not the CoD4:MW version. And then I selected the Steam Single Player version in the options. Press the hotkeys and bingo.

Thanks Snacko, this made me look again at something that would not work, and now it does
So just in case anyone else is having trouble with Nvidia Surround for this game:
Widescreen Fixer with the Retail
Disc Single Player Version would not work until I chose the
Steam Single Player Version.
Game Patched to 1.7

WidescreenFixer works great. 120fps average at bezel corrected 11920x2160. Not bad looking for a 10 year old game.
