After _years_ of discussion it's obvious that ATI cards do not support image scaling (i mean showing non-widescreen image with black bars . And there's little hope it will be ever fixed. For widescreen gamers this feature is often necessary. So i'm sure users have to be informed about it

there's a feature in the drivers but it's not working. update the FAQ please.

Cause it can be a major factor for buying a videocard

My posts to the catalyst crew feedback form have gone without this issue ever being fixed. It's enough to make me want to make my next graphics card nvidia as I have lots of 4:3 only games.
