I'm finally getting all my hardware for a good gaming rig. So, I need help in buying three matching 19" 1280x1024 panels, with DVI inputs. What should I go with?
Here is my rig rundown run-down:
P5N32-SLI Premium/WiFi-AP
Intel E6700
4GB XMS2 Corsair RAM
4x Samsung 320GB T-Series HDD
LiteOn SATA Optical Drive
Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Pro
Enermax Infiniti 720W
Lian-Li Black PC-777
I don't know much about RAM. This Corsair RAM looked pretty good. I plan on setting up a 1-2GB RAMDISK, so that I can take good in-game videos with FRAPS, without having to thrash my HDD or take a bigger FPS hit.
I'm going to mount one HDD internal for swap file. I'm going to put the other three in trays, so that I can swap between three HDDs. I'm going to load a "clean" install of WinXP SP2 on one, to use for the games I'm "really" playing such as Guild Wars. I'm going to load WinXP on the second one, and use it to download demos and such. That way my normal performance won't suffer was it gets crudded up, or if it crashes. The last I'm going to install Vista.

Hey Ibrin,
I am using 3 Dell 1908FP digital panels here and they look and work great. They have a 5ms respponse time so there is no tearing in my games or videos. The image quality is very good when connected to the TH2Go Digital, it's crisp, clean and bright. I would recommend them to anyone.

Hi Magic Man,
It's about an inch maybe 3/4 inch. But they are black so it doesn't really bother me and with Bezel Mangement it lines everything up nicely.

Thanks for the reply Richie - that's each monitor I take it rather than two together?

I've just placed an order for 3x HP LP1965s. I've also ordered the DS100 Ergotron stand and another NeoFlex HD swing arm. Going to try and mount th multi-mon arm on the HD flex, to get it all up off my desk...

Sounds great bud ...
I think you will have trouble connecting the arm to the wall mount ...
Ergotron should do a triple wall mount.
I have the LX Triple Display Lift Stand ... it's great ... :D

I've already considered the difference in the 3x arm (from the DS100) and the NeoFlex HD. There is about a 1/4" difference. I'm going to use some aluminum electrical conduit (or something similar) to provide a "pushing" between the two. My goal is to work out a hack to mount them. If I can't, then I'll just put it on the desk. But, I agree, Ergotron needs to provide something for TH2Go users who want wall mount. Hopefully my review and hack will spur them on.

Hello!
I'd recommend NEC Multisync 1990FXp (bezel is 6.9mm = 0.27inch) i think thats the narrowest bezel you could get. contrast is 1:1500, delay is 8ms. angle of view acceptance is 178/178°. price is about 400 EUR each.
if you wan't, I can post some pics (unluckily just the unpowered monitors) because i'm still building on the rig.

Very nice. Here's my HP LP1965 setup. I've got three mounts to get them off the stands and centered properly in the unit and will be mounting the 2407 beneath... still a bit of a mess in here at the moment :D

:D got to sort that shelf out, just put everything back there after I cut up the unit and reassembled...
To be honest, only had it a few days and flown a few flights in FSX but I don't notice the bezels to the extent that I usually don't bother with the bezel management.
Great to have all that space though, virtual cockpit across the three with plenty of space for guages, GPS, radio etc. on the big 24" - can even put the full 2D cockpit panel on there. Good workout for the GTX :D
