Hello all

i saw that all my post and my account on that forum has been deleted and don't know why ...

someone tell me the answer one time but i've just have a new computer and reinstall windows and have the same trouble that last time

i will explain my trouble

since i have reinstall windows, i put a resolution of 3840x1024 @ 60Hz

(i have 3 x 19" tft screens) but the third screen (the right one) has some line that appear because of 60 Hz, and if i put a windows (windows explorer, internet explorer or either) it's horrible, the text is "moving", the text trembles ... but when i'm putting the 3072x768 @ 75Hz resolution, there is no line and no problem with the text to read.

Month ago, someone here tell me to download a software/driver from Matrox that resolved the problem, i tought that was Matrox PowerDesk and i have installed it and lauched many time the configurator to find the best quality but nothing ... it's always awfull, but maybe it wasn't this software (i can't remember)

i've just changed my computer with new 8800GTS, i don't think that is the card is in fault (i used to 7800gtx before)

someone got any idea please ?

help would be greatly appreciated ! many thanks in advance

i just want to tell that it worked on win XP with that software (don't remeber it's name, maybe it was Matrox Power Desk) and work perfectly on Windows Vista without the PowerDesk (because when it try to launch the software, it obtain an error and need to close the program : powerdesk)

it's really awful, if no solution, i will try to return to vista (but i wanted to back to winXP)

This forum ?

Try un-installing and reinstalling Powerdesk ... make sure you have the latest versions from Matrox's web site ... and check your monitors drivers are up to date.

It may also be hardware. I had my TH2G swapped out by Matrox and the replacement unit doesn't have the same problem with sync.

all is back to normal

i've received a mail from the matrox support, they sended me a new firmware (strangely the same as i used) but i reflash the unit and now it work better than i have before, it's not as perfect as before i think but that's good and don't really need to be perfected

maybe i will bought a dvi version in next future to stop being upset

thanks for all
