Hi, I've been playing company of heroes and recently got a new monitor. It is a 19" Widescreen. The problem is, my system isn't powerful enough to run it at 1440x900, and there is no 1280x800 option for some reason. my ratio is 16:9.

Is there any widescreen hack/tweak that I can use for it?

The reason is because neither your monitor nor your graphics card drivers are configured to support that resolution. Here is a tutorial that will show you how to configure your graphics card drivers to support 1280x800. Make sure you have the latest Forceware drivers and are using a DVI cable.

Always get drivers from your chipset manufacturer, never from your board manufacturer (or worse, the CD that came with the board).

The exception is for laptops. For laptops, get drivers from your laptop manufacturer.

where can i get forceware for my BFG 7900 GS?

nvm my 7900 game with them.
i'm not a noob to computers. this is just my first widescreen.
