Hi Guys,

Could someone please provide a solution for wide mode for Cricket 07, I have tried all other methods used for EA sports games and cant get it fixed.

Can you tell me what the exact location is of cricket07.exe ( like c:program filesea gamescricket ) ? And what resolutions does Cricket 07 support out of the box ? Need all the resolutions the game supports..

squ1zzy thanks very much for this patcher, its great, i get the higher resolutions the game didnt support and like you sa FOV still needs tweaking but otherwise its perfect.

can someone give me updated info?

lol, seriously though this really needs a fix, i want to play in 1360x768 :cry:

hey whats the deal with this private fix anyway, could the rest of us get a hold of it please? :evil:
my mate has the PS2 version of Cricket07 and it has widescreen support how lame are EA :P

well id like to play it in 1360x768 (16:9) at the moment all i can get is 1024x768 and my players look so fat :(

squ1zzy did stop making patches, and ain't hosting them anymore. The WSGF has a few of those patches, but not this one :(

dang that really sux, if only it had an .ini file or something to edit :(

that Hex editing seems pretty straight forward but i wouldnt have a clue which file in cricket07 to edit into

well i finally figured out which file has the resolution in it, the folder "EA SPORTS(TM) Cricket 07" in "MyDocuments" contains a ".pro" file, (your profile settings) use a HEX editor to edit this file and create your custom resolution in Cricket07 the file has near nothing in it so its pretty easy to find the string

i feel like such an idiot after spending almost 2 hours on the .exe last night, it looks alot nicer now but im pretty sure it is stretched and i wouldnt have a clue how to change the FOV :?

anyone had any luck finding a FOV fix for this? :(
