Pretend Soul Calibur III got a PC version...
...and the PC version got some unique characters specific to the PC version. Who would you want in it, and what would they be like?
The rules:
The character should be originally from a game that appeared first on PC.
The character must be capable of fighting with a melee weapon.
You can give as much or as little detail as you like about how they would appear in the game. Some examples of optional details include category of primary weapon (must be a melee weapon), choices of melee weapons, special moves, and selectable costumes.
I'll start with an obvious one: Gordon Freeman. Naturally, his primary weapon would be a crowbar. The default costume would be the HAZMAT suit as it appeared in HL2.
Crowbars to pick from would include the carbon steel "wrecking bar" from the Half-Life games. There would be a titanium variant which is lighter and faster but less damaging, and an I-beam variant that is slower but has longer reach.
Alternate costumes would include a lab coat, and the HAZMAT suit from HL1, with an option to have the helmet on or off.

Beat 'em ups don't really work well on the PC, since one needs a gamepad to have good control, and gamepads aren't standard PC gamer equipment. Some have them, but some do not. And there's not one unique PC gamepad. Some wouldn't have enough buttons, for example, for a more complex game.

How about Guybrush Threepwood with a Muskateer style sabre?
