Hey all... I was just wondering if those who play HL2 would be interested in starting a HL2 clan. If I got permission from Ibrin we could make it a WSGF Clan? Anyway, just wanted to know everyone's thoughts on the subject seeing as how it is such a great game to play widescreen... or just in general.

Permission granted. If folks are interested, we'll work to publicize it on the site.

Alright well let's get started. If your interested in joining just say so here and consider yourself signed up. :) I may be able to host a dedicated server as well as a teamspeak server but I'm not 100% certain.

yeah , you really cant just say 'half life 2' the game doesent even have multiplayer.

and are there even clan matches to be had in HL2 DM?

I always was under the impression that HL2DM was nothing more then a gimmick since everybody is running around with refridgerators in front of them :lol:

You saying the gravity gun is a gimmick? Blasphemer! :twisted:

It's about as much of a gimmick as bullet-time in the Max Payne games. They're both really cool AND have a measurable affect on gameplay. As for HL2DM, some of the best players know how to use the grav gun well. A simple trick such as dropping a live grenade, picking it up and throwing it towards an enemy player can prove highly effective, when timed right.

Wish I could be part of the clan, but can't. Wrong country; the pings would be screwed. :cry:

In singeplayer it's not a gimmick indeed. But when i did play some HL2MP the only thing I saw was people who where carrying heaters and refridgerators around to protect themselves and shoot people with it. It did look really funny though. :lol:

I love HL2:DM. You know how people have that one specific FPS that they are just naturally good at. Well this is mine. I suck at everything else, like BF2 and UT2004, but HL2:DM, I rock.

I'm not sure HL2:DM is clan material, but seeing people roll cars down the street is always a hoot. There's no other game can you kill someone with a toilet. :D

I have seen several clans on HL2:DM. There are a lot of good players on the game and it can take skill in a hardcore server - you need a fast reaction rate.

Anyway, I think it is a good idea. I personally like HL2:DM to play here and there but not a daily basis so it doesn't really appeal to me as much as I would want to go ahead and join a clan--but I'm sure some people will. :D

Now, a CS:S [WSGF] clan...now that I could go for. :wink:

Well, HL2 Deathmatch or not sign me up.

I'm good for HL2 DM, DOD: S, CS: S, and any other free mod.
