Nice game decent graphics & frame rates - don't need a super new card.

Took me awhile to get past the opening cut scenes :shock: :wink:

Game now done :shock:

Impressions:

VERY - short about 2-3hrs to complete. :evil:

Linear gameplay - simplistic.

Not even close to the visuals of HL2 - decent but more flat & lacking the textures, details & eye candy of HL2 & FEAR. As a result it gets good & smooth frame rates on "older" cards.

A 3 out of 5 :(

Suggestion? - Wait for several episodes to be released & then buy the set??

The game could have been coded by mid-teenage males... It seems like a MOD for HL2 rather than a game. It's fun no doubt, but shabby cutscenes (With the exception of the hot sexy thong scene) and badly done cars... Hehe. I gotta say I won't be buying the next 7 episodes of SiN they're scheduled to be putting out in the future. 7 more installments of 20 bucks a pop ain't worth it.

And omg that girl with the thong's model is so hackable to have no clothes. It's even got the nipples modelled onto it. The skin is done under the bra and all just no nipples skinned. Perhaps another stupid thing they'll bring up in the ESRB rating scene... :roll:

apparently it got an 18 bbfc rating over here, and wasnt it rated M in the us?
havent completed it yet, its pretty fun though from what ive played anyway
