Sorry if this topic has been done to death (looked but could not find using Search) - anyway :

Currently running a 64 Bit Processor (AMD) and did take a look at the Beta of 64 bit windows a time ago - it was pretty pants. Nothing really worked and hardly any games were available so I went back to good ol' XP pro SP2... Times they are a'changing and is now the time to bit the bullet and go all 64bit on my ass? Anyone out there using Win64? Does it suck still or now its RTM are thing more stable? Only really use my PC as a gaming rig so I've not got to worry about work stuff...

Winxp x64 ain´t that big yet and not all things will work with it. Personally when it comes to windows x64 I will wait until all the programs I use today or similar will work in an 64bit environment. Still not that great support for drivers to work in x64 either. Seems I will install Vista instead of winxp x64.
