This game is surprisingly very good. it was released on the PS2 a little while ago and now that it is ported to the PC it looks like it was properly ported. its got high res of up to 1600x1200 unfortunately it doesn't have widescreen support shame though, this game would have really shined with WS support

I wanted to add that i have sucessfully added widescreen support to this game. after several hours of going through the code. i was able to add 1680x1050 and 1920x1200. i finally took out out 1680 and kept the 1920. looks very stunning now. i'll post pics later

Large screenshots make it a pain to read the threads ... you have to scroll left and right to read the posts. It's the same with 'long links'. :)

I want to play onimusha 3 on a 1024x600 fullscreen. please help. oh and by the way, I dont know how to get the game running in a full screen mode. Thanks in advanced

i got working in full screen and it seems that onimusha already supports widescreen some what.. such as the 1280x720 or something like that. Works on my computer but kinda slow tho. I would like to if someone can help me get onimusha 3 to run on my pc at 1024x600. Also I need help figuring out what the hell r1is on the pc control. I need to know how to shoot the arrows and have jacque go across the ledge.(that elf pops out of the chest and it seems that I gotta use my whip to get to the other side) thanks

Also anyone notice tearing on this game and how to resolve it? And how to run always in full screen.

To run this game in full screen just press alt + enter and it will go.

The game looked and ran great on my old monitor at 1280x1024. I haven't tried it on my WS one yet, but I don't remember seeing any tearing or anything and I played through the entire thing in about 3 days.

This is post patch, and Ubisoft version, if those matter...

I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but there is a file that gets installed called oni3launcher.exe. When I start the game using this, it's automatically launched in fullscreen and at my current resolution, which is 1680 x 1050, so it supports widescreen (albeit stretched).

so ho i can get a widescreen resolution?

xD, some people buy the game and use a no-cd because there not very active :lol:
