does anyone know if the new Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones will support widescreen??

the game only supports maximum 1280x1024, however i got 1280x700 as one of the options so can get 16:9 widescreen, and he doesnt look stretched or anything.

nooooo... its CROPPED widescreen (u see less than normal) and not true widescreen.

AHHH SUISUIDFUSJKL!! STUPID!!

damn ubisoft... i guess they were too lazy to implement a TRUE widescreen :(

hopefully.. ther will be a FOV hack to fix this.. but i highly doubt it...

darn it...i have Warrior Within and it works with 1440x900 resolution....WS :D :D ...im still gonna get it tho..no matter what!! :lol: :lol:

in hardware.ini i have 1440*900 listed, but in game I cannot select it. I guess the max is 1280*1024, at least until a patch or hack is out. Personally I think the FOV is ok because the camera is movable and you can see very well around you.

Oh wait a second...you guys are talking about the new PoP games, hehe. :wink:

Could someone get me up to date on the last two sequels? I played the first part of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time on the Xbox and I really enjoyed the graceful fighting moves. Unfortunately it got really tedious with all the jumping puzzles, some of which drove me nuts, so I dropped it. Are the new PoP games like that?

is there any way to make (1152x648) works with PoP3???

I'm getting the game for christmass on PC.... i reallly hope it does works.... or that someone will MAKE it work...

i personally havent tried it yet..... and beside, i wont be getting PoP3 until christmas.... so i just wanted to get a head start before i even get the game! :)

on my dell 2005fpw with fixed aspect ratio (nvidia control tab) it looks great

Hi all first post :D

I found the great program with patches for POP1 and POP2 but I don't think they will work with The Two Thrones. :roll:
I have a problem in the game because I can't play with 1280x1024 resolution. Is there a possible solution to fix this or maybe and updated version of the patches.ini will include the game?

no, i didn't use anything, i haven't even installed the lcd drivers

its just one of the options available for madden and pop3

i can take some screenshots if you want though my filehosting seems to be messed up
