Hello to everyone!

I have notebook with widescreen and I was wondering if there is any possibility to play Baldur's Gate (Shadows of Amn + Throne of Bhaal) in resolution 1280x800 or similar (maybe 1280x720)?

Please let me know if it is possible or not.

I know there are some posts concerning this on sorcerer's place or whatever that page was called, should be able to google it. Anyway the conclusion they came to there was something that BG2 just crashes when you try to edit in custom resolutions in the config files so I'd say it isn't possible.

Yes, I tried this: even to the point of poking round the .exe files. No dice. That game falls flat on it's face every time it loads.
