is hot pursuit 2 better than porche unleashed?
I want a good racing game on my htpc that will do widescreen without stretching.
Any other recomendations would be helpfull too?....I got underground2 today and it seems to have no support for custom resolutions or widescreen and I'm not playing with letterboxed sides....hope compusa doesn't give me a problem exchanging it :shock:
nice forum by the way...just happened across a link when browsing the htpcnews.com forum today....I'm suprised at the number of members...although I shouldn't be, widescreen computer displays are starting to flood the market so i guess that opens up this problem to a lot more people other than just htpc folks like me.

Hi,
I know this is an old post and it is an old game so please bear with me. I followed the step and changed the rendercaps.ini file and successfully changed my resolution to 1680x1050 but everything still seems stretched. Is it the FOV? If so how do you change it?

I've found a widescreen patch for NFS HP2 which makes it running with proper aspect ratio. Tested, it works.

This patch only fixes the stretching of cars by making them smaller. The rest of the graphics is still stretched.
