make cutscenes fill screen properly in KOTOR widescreen?

I have read that when using the widescreen patch in knights of the old republic the cut scenes dont fill out the whole screen....

Now i have noticed this also in a bunch of other games when you run them at a higher resolution that 800 x 600...

is there any way from preventing this and making the movies fill the screen properly?

dang two years and no one has a solution to this? this bugs the heck outta me, every time it goes to a movie cutscene (not rendered), it plays in a small window in the corner, i have to click on the desktop, then click back in to make it fullscreen again. ugh....yea i know this thread is 2 years old...but eh, no sense in making another one when it's gonna be the same thing...

anyone have a solution? thanks
