Skyrim Multi-Monitor User Interface Fix Discussion
I have taken helifax's newest fix and redone all the files again, for your convenience. I have also updated the read me to resolve my assumption that the multi-monitor edit had been done in SkyrimPrefs.ini, so I have included that under Preparation. I have also put in instructions on exactly what I did to make these edits, that way any one can edit the file for their custom resolutions. Thanks again helifax for this fix!
Kayden did this back on page 84, head back and check it out!

Can I bother someone to create a table that is 5760x1080?? I'll be you best friend :)
Yes, helifax should release a pack of tables for common multi-monitor resolutions, like Kayden did in the previous version, very soon, please keep checking this thread and the game's Detailed Report, under Multi-Monitor Specific Solution.

I'm currently running Helifax's solution with no problems. I really appreciate that you have released each version as it got better, rather than waiting for the perfect one to release. Your fix works splendidly, and allows quick in-game solutions based on the players choice and preference.
Such a response by such a person as you to such a sub par lazy port from Bethusda was worth as much to me as I paid for the game itself, and I delivered so in the Chip-in donation drive. I think the $1000 limit was too low... Everyone please put your money where your mouth is and show your appreciation for what was delivered without thought of monetary gain, as opposed to what was not delivered completely for monetary gain (Bethusda).

@Helifax:
Thx to your fix I finally can play it in Eyefinity!
But: One flaw remains... The map is not completely fixed. The problem is, that even in stretched mode, the map will display correctly (Icons stretched, but that's no major problem)... BUT I can't set an custom marker! No matter if stretched or centered HUD... The custom marker will go way off from where I put it.
So my request: Is it possible to have your script in an version with centered HUD (and Book fix) only and toggle it between On and Off? Because the map works just fine out of the box without any fixes and must not be fixed!
yes I noticed that last night.. I was like ..Oo what the hell is that blue arrow doing on my left screen:)) I will check it out and try to fix it during this weekend:D
Edit: Interesting idea:) I will have to see if I can do it... I think I have a little idea on how to do this;)) hehe

I see helifax and Kayden is working hard, but I have to say the original files (using + and -) are muich better as this results: The map is difficult, as only streching works for world map and only centering works for detailed map (pressing 'L'). Also after pressing '-' on numpad the titles of the books is hard to read, which wasn't before.
The old files work better for me, IMHO. (and I have to thank for these) I think, the file I use is based on 1024test.CT, I generate a trainer of it.

Ok... I figured out the problem with the map and map cursor thing:) will release this evening a new version that will have 3 modes for the begining: 1. Centered HUD 2. Map mode (normal default mode) 3. Readin books mode (hopefully in the future I will manage to fix this so no extra key will be required)

I still can't see the inventory items displayed correctly with any of these fixes. The objects go off-screen and behind bezels. I actually really needed to examine this claw item to see the order of the symbols on it for opening a door, but I couldn't so I had to exit the game, then change to windowed, run the game again, load my save and examine the item, then exit, then change the settings back to triple-screen resolution, then start the game again, load my save, then I could finally open the door by inputting the correct order of symbols. Tried helifax's fix but it doesn't seem to do anything with the inventory objects nor does hayden's or am I using it incorrectly?

Ok! New Version will be out in a couple of minutes!!!
It will contain:
- Centered HUD (by default)
- Correct map + Correct POSITION OF CUSTOM MARKER
- Map will automatically switch to correct mode when pressing the default M key.
- Exiting the map by pressing the M key will automatically switch to CENTER HUD - Workaround for BOOKS and SCROLL reading (using the B key prior to hitting ENTER A BOOK)
- Pressing the B key will automatically switch to CENTER HUD, after reading a BOOK - Legacy STRETCHED HUD binding to 0 key on normal keyboard (NOT NUMPAD)
More info will come when the fix is released.

Awesome! you are awesome man.
i think imma stick with the old one still personally
i like the stretched hud, centered on a 19" @ 1024 just isnt enough. action buttons and info is too squished at that low/thin a res. so im still with stretched hud for everything and just books button.
also i really liked it at - * / on the numpad. that was the best key combo "imo anyway"
i guess i prolly suffer from the offset custom marker issue, but i havnt used a custom marker. i only follow the presets and i choose which i want. so it hasnt come up. im a really casual player though, so im not even level 10 yet :P
First of all a big thank you

First of all a big thank you for all the work your putting into this.
I see you mention that your newest fix will auto apply the fix for reading books and scrolls. However i think I've found an issue when reading scrolls. Even with your fix in place and working well, it would seem the the image for scrolls are smaller than that for books. As such the text on scrolls is scaled correclty but appears off center. I've attached some screenshots so you can see what I mean.

This issue was been fixed by a fix from yesterday:) Today I am releasing a new version with smarter key-binds:) So stay tuned:D

New Version is out!!
It contains:

!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you switch to a mode don't forget to toggle back to the center hud mode (by pressing the same key again). Otherwise you will be stuck in that mode!!!
To add your custom Resolution open the FILE in NOTEPAD++ and search for 5230 and 1743. The first number replace it with your Eyefinity/Surround Width Resolution. The second number is the resolution of one monitor. For example: 5230/3=1743. DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING ELSE!!!
Enjoy:)
Best Regards!

Does it still have the / and * to change mode, in case you get out of sync?
Nervermind, I can just use the b key to center.

Thanks halifax for your fix :)
The one thing I notice which is a bug for me at least is that the normal subtitles are squished a bit, very narrow letters so they are close to unreadable :P The map is strange as well, but that is workable tho, and doesnt bother me at all.
