There's no info in the DR about the screen change for cut-scenes? Are there both pre-rendered movies and in-game? How are they handled? Helifax, can you update the DR with the info. I realize it may be impossible to get screens for that, given the nature of an MMO. Is the only flaw in the game the centered HUD?
Other than the intro movie (and maybe others that I haven't seen yet) every cutscene is rendered with the engine. The intro video is played on the center screen.
It is handled properly. However sometimes they can be hilarious because you can tell the cutscenes weren't designed with such wide aspect-ratios in mind. You can see characters being staged for upcoming scenes, sometimes they are facing the wrong direction, sometimes they move awkwardly, etc. But it's only on the side screens and it doesn't affect the central cutscene or its focus.
The only flaw I can really see is the HUD not being centered.
Except for occasionally where I seem to get some corrupted geometry that completely tanks the frame rate, I get a pretty consistent 60fps, but I'm running a pair of 580's.
I've also very occasionally started the game and for no apparent reason had much poorer frame rates.
Judging by the forums, there is something going on with frame rate that's not directly related to graphics, or CPU performance, I'd guess it's related to the corrupted graphics I see occasionally.
I'm running the game at near on 60fps everywhere on 1 5870 2gig.

SWTOR still looks great and also runs very smooth, happy with how it runs and looks.
My FPS is buttery smooth all the time, except for when I exit the galaxy map. Alt-tabbing to the desktop and back fixes this but it's the only place I would even notice less than max fps. I should probably just update my drivers as I haven't done so since the end of the beta...
I have huge issues with audio. Whenever the game has to load new audio, the FPS drops drastically. It gets worse after playing for a few hours, so I often need to quit and run the game again.
I'm running 5x1 portrait and when I enable the fix everything shrinks to the left (Left HUD Position stays at 0).
Am I doing something wrong? I can get it to change widths by hitting the hotkey i just cant get "Left HUD Position" to change to something greater than zero.
Ati 5870 E6 with the samsung md230 moitors (5400x1920 - 5660x1920 with bezel comp on, ~60 pixels per bezel)
I'm getting an exception error on the fixer when I start the game now
"Value cannot be null."
"Paramter name: value."

But if I leave the error up and run the game anyway it still leaves "Left HUD Position" at zero.
In the configuration window I'm putting 2400 x 1920 for the standard and 5660 x 1920 for the corrected. the Hud goes to 2400 wide , it just does it at the left of my screen. When I reverse the numbers (5660 standard and 2400 corrected) it just does the opposite - 2400 starting from HUD position 0 when fix not enable and 5660 when enabled.
Is it possible to just put a manual entry for "Left HUD Position"? Or maybe a check box to manually override what the Fixer is calculating to center it?
For the input boxes, you should put in a non-bezel corrected resolution and then a bezel-corrected resolution. If you do not use bezel-correction, then set those two boxes to the same as the uncorrected ones.
For example,
If your desktop is 5660 x 1920, and you do not use bezel-management, then set both sets of boxes to that res.
If you do, then put the corrected res in the bottom text boxes.
When I put 5400 x 1920 in the standard and 5660 x 1920 in the corrected, then when i hit the hot key in game my hud shrinks to the left by about 260 pixels. When I put 2400 x 1920 then when I hit the hotkey the hud shrinks to 2400 wide but it is on the left.
Since it shrinks the hud to a custom size now ( iwanted 2400 wide and it does that when I enter 2400 in the standard width) but just doesn't seem to do the (old width- new width)/2 for a new "Left HUD Postion" then a check box so I could manually enter "Left HUD Position" (in my case it would be 1630) since there seems to be a problem calculating "Left HUD Position" for my setup.
Is there no one else running 5x1 portrait with this problem?
Thank you for all your time in this.
edit - oh yeah - it doesn't crash anymore :)
I'll be donating in a few minutes. I could never do what you are doing and appreciate your efforts to help the whole community.
It seems to work great, it just doesn't calculate the "Left HUD Position" offset. Can you add an entry for the HUD offset? In an earlier post you found where it was so it seems like you could just add a box for manual entry.
I figure there is some kind of memory editor I could find it and do it manually but it just seems you have a tool that is already doing that and to me, a non-programmer, it seems like it would be easy to add a text box for us to do it manually.
After playing for weeks with it like that I was excited to finally find this tool - I can wait another few weeks if thats what it takes. Maybe you could tell me what the new offset is for the latest swtor version? It would help with doing it manually until there is a permanent fix in your Fixer.
Hi, I hope I'm not distracting from the major topic of centering HUDs too much, but my major concern is what I consider a weird perspective on my three monitors, especially on the far sides on the action. I tried to post a few jpgs to show what Im talking about. In the first, there's a stationary player on a speeder; if I look in a different direction though, the speeder and player looks really large; like its a lot closer to me than he is. When I watch other videos of widescreen play, I don't think I notice this difference in size, buts its my first time with a multi monitor setup so I might have some things to learn.
My normal resolution is 1920X1080 and I'm using Bezel corrected of 6020X1080 if thats necessary to state, I'm just trying to setup the game to look it's best, any thoughts?
