awesome, can't wait for the new fix, its to much of an adjustment now playing COD4 without your fix. thanks again and can't wait to get it going again. :twisted:

I just downloaded the latest version of the fixer but v1.4 singleplayer COD4 isn't on the list of games.

Is it supported at all or have we effectively abandoned a triplehead singleplayer campaign in any version above v1.2?

EDIT
I tried just selecting COD4 v1.2 Singleplayer anyway. It kinda worked, there was some anomalies with the menu and load screens; and gameplay became jittery after applying the fix despite frames being between 50-60. Dopefish, are these issues a result of the game version not matching the version that I'm telling the fixer that I have?

And the jitter-ing, I don't experience any of this... but... if you use a low update rate setting, it could possibly cause it. I usually set the update rate to 500 or higher for CoD4 since it's not really needed (it just needs to update once per map, really).

Yeah now that you explain it thats probably whats causing the stuttering, at the time I set it up updating often sounded like a good thing so I set it to 130ms. I'll post some screenies of what I mean by the menu and loading screen anomalies. They are nothing huge but still...

Restriction: Corrupted File/Memory [81319]

Any ideas?

It lets me play on a single screen without the TripleHead2Go and Fixer without kicking me.

looks like the fun is done. i can't play at all now with your fix dopefish. thats really bad, its too hard to play without it. you've done such a good job going back to that stretch gameplay now is impossible. i tried playing on 1 monitor and it felt to weird. i really hope you can come up with something, idk why all of the sudden this happened, game was working for weeks without a hitch. idk why these damn companies don't just implement th2g in their games, or at the very least, have enough consideration to the guys that have this setup to patch their game, i mean really, if dopefish can make the game runs like its suppose to so can infinity ward.

Well, Even Balance does their updates to PunkBuster in batches. So in one of the recent updates, they may have just done some extra checking. Cheats are pretty rampant in the game right now so if them blocking Widescreen Fixer means a bunch of hacks were blocked, it's okay with me.

I've pretty much exhausted what I can do with Call of Duty 4. I'll test other games to see how they turn out. This might be in the hands of IW now, though. :o
I feel quite the opposite honestly. I'd rather leave some cheaters than ban legimate players.

The main issue is this: Neither Even Balance or IW care about such a small group of gamers. The fix will have to come from the community.

I sent one to Even Balance and then to Penny Arcade. I'm hoping one or the other answers me. If tycho were to write something on the front page about this injustice i think we would get a fix quickly.

I know a few non-punkbuster servers that aren't too bad for hacks, so I can always fall back on them while still using using dopefish's wonderful little program. 8)
