It's nice but,

About the widescreen Fixer found here this is the first time this has ever happened to me and I'v been playing since 2005, It worked good until this happened when I joined a new server I could see through the ground and some buildings seen in the screens I posted, even after shutting off the program and If you get caught by a screen shot your stats will get reset and Banned by PB not good when your a General :(

How could it be that I installed this yesterday and this is the first time ever I've seen anything like this in 2yrs of playing BF2?
Maybe it's not your program but what are the odds this happens right after the install.

Does it still do it without it loaded? Does it do it when the hack is running but disabled. Does it switch back to normal textures when you disable the hack or close the program? Does this happen if you load the game, minimise and then load the hack?

It doesn't touch your BF2 files so if your game still looks messed up even when it's disabled then i guess it's just coincidence.

Sorry to say it, but you have something else going on there.

Be careful, because in this Screnshot I see a "wonderful" gamehack.

If admin request a PBSS to you, you will be banned in streamed servers by gamehack, not by widescreen format.

Uh, uh. Dope: In bf2 with 1.30 I got a violation gamehack 89105.

Working conditions:

- Two Widescreen fixer 1.30 in memory: One to BF2142 and One to BF2
- Playing only BF2 with FIX ENABLED NO :shock: :shock:

In a few minutes: PB Violation gamehack 89105

No problem with 1.21

Any explanation ??

I will do a ticket to EB.

I was referring to the images above. My program is not doing that.

I'll have to look into what's up with BF2. I've been using the BF2142 part of it with no kicks.

Does it do it with v1.25, or did it just show up in v1.30?

There were many changes internally from v1.25 to v1.30, but nothing that should trigger any kind of violation. It still does the exact same reading of 2 values and writing of 2 values as always.

I always submit my source to EB and EA every time I release a new one. I'll see what kind of response I get.

I got gamehack 89105 with BF2 only and widescreenfixer 1.30.

Not tested in bf2142 with 1.30.

We have had 2 bans both effective 4 Nov 2007 from both PBBans for this tool.

DeadShot, I've sent the necessary source to both EB and EA/DICE. I haven't heard anything back just yet, but I'll hop on TS and explain it.

When I got violation gamehack 89105 with 1.30 widescreenfixer, fix enabled was OFF but widescreenfixer was in memory.
I suposse if fix enabled was OFF, no read/write FOV in game. But KICK did anyway.

Very strange I think.

Later I was testing widescreenfixer 1.21 in bf2 and NO PB KICK did, as usual.

Have played bf2 without cheating for years and yesterday I get a ban by punkbuster.

if you notice there is a lot of #89105's appear on the ban list

It only happens using widescreenfixer 1.30 in bf2. I dont know what happen in bf2142 with 1.30

I think earlier versions are secure to PB like 1.21.

I have contacted both PBBans and PsB about this in addition to Glenn over at PB (and several tickets). If EB releases a statement that 1.3 caused the kicks, the banning authorities (PsB and PBBans) will remove the bans. People may have to appeal each ban themselves though. This will not be a blanket lifting of all bans with that kick code.
