If everything is in the right place I'm a bit lost as to why the mod isn't working. Have you tried launching the game with the -mod command line parameter?

To edit the map you must load each one individually into WorldBuilder and modify the camera settings. What would be faster is just extracting all the maps from the ZoomMapMod .big file into the game's own directory and try renaming the standard maps.big file to force the engine to use the extracted maps.

Still, there must be some way to make the game recognize the mod, and that would be the best, least-invasive method.

Ok, finally! After much fighting, and finally a full uninstall & reinstall, the thing works!

Must have been me doing something wrong, I'm just not sure what!

Now, next question. Is there any way of forcing the video cut scenes to use only the centre monitor, as they crop across all three, and all I get is nipples...?

So after reading through all of this i still don't understand. I can get the game to start at 5100x1200 fine but obviously the camera is zoomed in too close. I downloaded the zoom map mod and run it, it works perfectly. Thing is i can't get the game to start at 5100x1200 because i need to start from the auto launcher so i can access the mod and not use a modded shortcut for the higher res.

So how did you guys manage to start the game at high res and still activate the mod???

Hi. Im trying to zoom out the camera (make the camera upper). As it has been mentioned by CooZa: "I found the gamedata.ini file, it is inside the misc.big file located in the Command & Conquerer 3/core/1.0 directory ". So, the question is how to modify gamedata.ini inside misc.big? I've tried - BIGEditorBeta05, but it can only extract files from big or I don not understand how to modify files inside big - files. I've tried to copy modified file (gamedata.ini) in several folders inside CnC3TW, but it has no effect.
