11.11 driver and 11.11 CAP1 catalyst were just posted. Says nothing about Skyrim in the description... I will test as soon as I get home.

Has bethesda scaled back their eyefinity support, or is this something that will be addressed in the future?

From the popularity of this thread and Bethesda's past I would hope they were going to address this issue. Skyrim is the Creation engine where Oblivion and FO3 were still using the Gamebyro engine, and while they both worked in triplehead, they had some issues. They weren't as broken as this though (although I didn't play FO3 on launch, I waited a few months for it to go on sale). From the looks I would say creation is just a more advanced version of the gamebyro engine. The map is also different in skyrim. They probably had to rework some things which would explain the poor support on the initial release. Unfortunately they were probably trying to push the game out on time or as early as possible.

[quote][quote]For those who have eyefinity working (minus any menu fixes), what drivers are you running?

I get 3-5fps with eyefinity when I disable my crossfire and put details on low. Should be getting much more than that. I have seen videos of eyefinity working well, so it must be my drivers. I am on ccc 11.10 and drivers dated 10/12/11.

I am using an HD 5870 @6000 x 1080 (so HaYDens fix is set @ 2000) with 11.10 driver, ultra settings with all distances reduced to 75%, AA off, AF x16 and fov @75 - the only issue that remains is the Book reading. I have a 4th monitor for Elder scrolls Wiki to read books, etc. My FPS is 35 average, which is entirely enjoyable to play.
I even rolled the driver back to 11.9 at the beginning of this whole eyefinity 'fix' situation to make sure that my issues were not driver-related. Use Revo uninstaller and COMPLETELY remove CCC and driver then re-install if you think it may be driver.

Are you on 64bit win7?
Yes

[quote]Hi Helifax.

I remember a few posts ago people were talking about the pain of editing the games UI flash files, and I know the approach both you and Hayden have used was memory based, but if you guys still need the flash files in an editable form, somebody on the nexus uploaded some.

If not, sorry for distracting you ! :)

Thank you! While the flash editing is on stand-by at the moment from my point of view:) They will come handy in the future when I will look some more into them to see what else can be done from there;))

I'm still giving the Flash route a go here and there, though the inventory files are giving us a headache at this point. As soon as anyone figures out how to recompile inventorymenu.swf in a manner that prevents Skyrim from crashing when the inventory is opened, we're back in business.

I haven't noticed any improvement (Over 11.10 Official and 11.9 CAP4)

The Skyrim CAP is still being worked on according to Twitter

I believe the flash route is the correct way to do things.

Someone on the nexus forums made a post on how to recompile them, they said something about roughly the fist 80 bytes needs to be copied from the original SWF, i'll see if i can find the link, they also mentioned a recompiling program.

EDIT: the program is called SWIX http://www.swixkit.com/

here's the link to the nexus thread http://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php?/topic/457751-trying-to-edit-interface/page__st__10__p__3803823__hl__swix__fromsearch__1#entry3803823

Hello all!I took some time

Hello all!

I took some time to perfect my technique:
In short it does:

- It streches the hud so the inventory is now fully accessible
- Level Up menu works properly
- Map Works properly
- Items are properly scaled in inventory
- Loading screen is not broken and texts are also visible.
- Reading books are still a minor issue and must be Read with the included workaround:
1. Go to inventory select the BOOK. Prior of open it press "+"(plus key) then open it.
2. When reverting from the book press "-"(minus key) to revert to normal hud.

How-To use it:
1. You need Cheat Engine installed.
2. Open the table.
3. select "YES" to load the script and start the game.
4. Play the game

I have included 2 formats: 5040x1050 & 5760x1080.

The game is now fully playable. I know is not nicely wrapped in a tool of its own but that takes time and as long as the game works...isn't that what we want?:)

Best Regards,
Helifax

how about 6016x1080 ? can i just edit the 2 values in your file ? or do those hex numbers need to be changed ?

mov edx, [0018FC84]
mov [eax+10],edx
mov [TESV.exe+116E4DC], 3F000000
mov [TESV.exe+116E4D0], 40A00000
mov [TESV.exe+116E784], 3F147AE1
mov [TESV.exe+116E778], 40400000

Some elements of the UI yes:) but not all:) If you want to change for your resolution go to File->generate trainer and just change the values that look like Resolutions EX:1680 and 5040. The other values must not be changed or it will break the UI and even the game:)

I'm getting "This is not a valid cheat table (Error executing this table's lua script: Access violation)". I'm already running this with admin rights and the resolution is correct, 5040. Could this be because of the TESV.exe? Thanks!

As on my system it is not, and I can't seem to get the trainer to work.

Yes! I forgot to say press "-" key to adjust the HUD to stretched format:) You will have to rescale only for the books:) Afterwards even the main menu is rescaled:)

Nope:) You will have to normally start the game. Also use "Yes to all" Other reported to have problems with only "Yes" for the script part:)

I had the same problem, when the prompt comes up don't click "Yes" rather click "Yes to all" fixed me right up.
